Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Gryffin's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service. These terms apply to all users of the service, including organizations and their members.

Service Description

Gryffin provides a GDPR-compliant AI chat service that automatically protects personally identifiable information (PII) before sending messages to AI providers. Our service includes: secure AI-powered chat functionality, automatic PII detection and anonymization, organization and team management, audit trails and compliance reporting, and API access for integrations.

User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain the security of your password and account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activities under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Send harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the service
Share account credentials or access tokens with unauthorized parties

Data Processing

By using our service, you acknowledge that messages are processed through our PII detection system before being sent to AI providers. While we make every effort to detect and protect sensitive information, you remain responsible for the content you submit. For organizations processing personal data of EU residents, we can provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) upon request.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Gryffin and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit through the service. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for providing the service.

Payment Terms

For paid subscriptions:

Prices are as displayed at the time of purchase and may be subject to change with notice
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
We offer a 7-day free trial. After the trial, refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any interruption or unavailability caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gryffin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. AI-generated responses are provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. You may request data export before termination.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Stockholm, Sweden.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
